Description: The Sato model horse is part of the Breyer Traditional collection (1:9 scale). He was sculpted using the Cigar mold created by Susan Carlton Sifton in 1998.

Known for their speed and athletic prowess, Thoroughbreds most often have coats colored chestnut or bay. However, Sato is a Thoroughbred of a very different color, a rare palomino pinto sabino. Registered with The Jockey Club and the American Paint Horse Association, this 16-hand stallion brings together the  flashy coloration of a Paint and the elegant conformation of a Thoroughbred to make him a show-stopping piece of equine eye candy. His owner April Wayenberg of Blazing Colours Farm, says, "He is the kind of horse young girls dream about as they grow up." Sato is indeed a real live dream horse with his beauty, grace and friendly disposition.
